ReadyGo โ€” Account & Data Deletion Request

1. Overview

At ReadyGo, we respect your right to control your personal data. You may request the deletion of your ReadyGo account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains the steps to request account deletion, what data will be removed, and what limited data may be retained for legal compliance.

Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use ReadyGo services in the future.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

You can delete your account using any of the following methods:

1 In the ReadyGo Mobile App

  1. Open the ReadyGo app on your mobile device.
  2. Go to Profile (tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation).
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account".
  4. Confirm by entering your password when prompted.
  5. Tap "Permanently Delete My Account" to confirm.

2 Via Email

  1. Send an email to privacy@readygo.co.zw.
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request".
  3. Include the email address and phone number associated with your ReadyGo account.
  4. We will verify your identity and process the request within 7 business days.

3 Using the Form Below

Fill out the deletion request form at the bottom of this page. We will verify your identity and begin processing your request within 7 business days.

3. Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธProfile Information โ€” Name, email, phone number, password, profile photo
  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธSaved Addresses โ€” All delivery addresses and location preferences
  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธPayment Methods โ€” All saved payment cards and billing details
  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธOrder Preferences โ€” Favourites, dietary preferences, and saved items
  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธPush Notifications โ€” All notification tokens and preferences
  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธLocation History โ€” GPS tracking data and location logs

4. Data That May Be Retained

In accordance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, we may retain limited anonymized or aggregated records for the following purposes:

    Transaction Records

    Anonymized order and payment transaction records required for financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit trails. Personal identifiers are removed.

    Legal & Compliance Records

    Records required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. This includes fraud prevention and safety data.

  • ๐Ÿ“Š
    Aggregated Analytics

    Non-personally identifiable usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you. This data is used solely for improving our services.

5. Retention Period

30 days

Personal data deletion after request confirmation

Anonymized financial records for tax compliance

Backup systems fully purged after deletion

After you submit a deletion request, there is a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel the request by logging back into your account. After the grace period, deletion begins and personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized financial records are retained for up to 7 years as required by Zimbabwean tax law.
